ABOUT DAYNA
Dayna Hodge Lynch (she/they) is a Black poet from North Carolina. Dayna received her B.A. in English, a minor in African and African-American Studies at Loyola University of New Orleans, their MFA from Queens University of Charlotte, and a MLS from North Carolina Central University. Her work can be found in Rattle, Kissing Dynamite, Rappahannock Review, Potomac Review, Bitchin’ Kitsch, and NZ’s Tarot. The poet was a 2021 finalist for the Rattle Poetry Prize. Also in 2021, the writer was a finalist for the “Miss Sarah” Trillium Arts Fellowship. Dayna enjoys libraries, mangoes, and penguins.
